Manitoba Cochlear Implant (Bionic Ear) Support Group

Today it was decided that we will set up this blog to inform all clients with computers and internet capabilities who are either waiting for, or have had this wonderful operation in Ottawa or St Johns Newfoundland. We will provide information to those people and give them Links to sites that can answer all questions. It will be a follow up to all meetings that will be held the first Friday of each month. This support group is the place to meet with those who have already had a Cochlear Implant and those who are being assessed or waiting for their surgery date to help answer your concerns and fears and also to hear the benefits of being able to hear once again. These meetings are held at the Central Speech and Hearing Clinic on Markham Road in Winnipeg.
